Continuing with the WBA luncheon series on human trafficking and other immigration-related human rights issues, this evening event will provide an opportunity to meet with local attorneys, law enforcement officers and leaders of non-profit organizations to learn how you can take action against human trafficking. Thursday, June 19th, 2008 at McDermott Will & Emery 6:00 - 7:00 PM    Reception(Open Bar and Appetizers) 7:00 - 8:00 PM    Presentations on: 8:00 - 9:00 PM   Open Discussion and Social Hour (Open Bar) Experience the presentations, participate in the discussions, pick up materials and get involved! • Pursuing Civil Restitution by Victims’ Advocate, Martina Vandenberg, Jenner & Block LLP • Developing Public/Private Sector Partnerships to Combat Human Trafficking by Bill Livermore, LexisNexis • Investigating and Prosecuting Human Trafficking Cases by FBI and other law enforcement officers • Supporting Victims and Seeking Justice by Brad Myles, Polaris Project, & Veronica Puente-Duany, Ayuda Venue: McDermott, Will& Emery LLP, 600 13th Street, N.W., Washington, DC 20005.
