  2. Who? • Each week, I would invite a new group of friends to come to Cameron Glen with me. All of my volunteers loved the experience as well, making return trips multiple times! They were enthusiastic and worked great with the residents!

  3. What? • Each time we would visit, there would be a set theme for that week. For example, around the holidays, we had a holiday themed parade. This parade was made entirely by volunteers and the residents.

  4. Special Aids • The people who actually worked at Cameron Glen, like Perry Lemmon (in the picture) were a blast to work with. They showed true passion everyday, noting how rewarding of a job they have.

  5. The residents • The residents at Cameron Glen are the reason I came back time and time again. They were magical and made me feel at home. They made giving back such a joyful experience.

  6. Additional Notes • To anyone that is interested in volunteer work but whose a little skeptical, I say go for it. You never know until you try something. Volunteering at Cameron Glen was honestly one of the best things I have ever done with my spare time. I highly encourage others to get out in their communities and give back!
