  4. Ways Dance enhances Literacy • Use of Dance Motif Symbols • Provides students with a method of writing their original choreography • Helps students to understand symbols for dance • Creates a common language for dance

  7. Ways Dance Enhances Literacy • Research Reports • Students research and write about different topics in dance • They can study choreographers, dancers, famous dance pieces, technical terms, etc

  8. Dance and Literacy Literacy is important for all age and grade levels of students. Dance provides students with learning styles more suitable for movement and tactile learning, can benefit by having literacy in the dance room and also dance in the classroom.
