EUR-Alpha - European Network for adult literacy and numeracy • EUR-Alphais a European network of exchanges between literacy and numeracy practitioners, learners, trainers, researchers, policymakers. Processforrealisation • Duringtheirfirstworkshop in Namur (Belgium) in April 2010, learnersvisitedthe European Parliamentandtheydecidedtowrite a “packageofdemands”. • Underthesupervisionof FACEPA, thecatalanassociationwho was in chargeto manage theLearnersscientificCommittee, this “packageofdemands” takesthenameofManifesto. • In thefollowingmonths, learners in localgroupsaccross Europe wereconsultedtoshapethecontentoftheManifesto. • In Barcelona in October 2011, themembersoftheLearnersCommitteeandtheparticipantsofthesecondworkshopagreedon a commonversion in English.
