History and Highlights of SSPŠ: A Glimpse into the Prague High School
Established in 1901, SSPŠ in Prague has evolved significantly over the years. Initially led by Ing. Emanuel Hertik, the school functioned as a military hospital during World War I. It thrived in the 1920s and 1930s with up to 1,800 students. By the 1960s, it focused on engineering technology and construction engineering from the 1970s to 1980s. Today, equipped with modern technology, SSPŠ offers diverse certification options and strong sports facilities, fostering a vibrant student community engaged in various hobbies and interests.
