Your sales process plays an important role I want you to present your offer in a way that makes it logical and easy for customers to say yes. There are lots of pieces that could go into your sales funnel - upsells, downsells, cross sells, affiliate offers, recurring products. I’ll explain what those are in this section... BUT I DON’T want you to try to do them all right now.

Optimized Ecommerce Your sole aim is to create a site that’s content rich and that responds to your customers needs The KEY is to help your prospect find what they are looking for as quickly as possible By now we should know what they are looking for - meet their needs and you win Your pages and sub pages should be product/niche specific Don’t just copy the suppliers or manufacturers product description write your own Simple, intuitive navigation – REMEMBER – “Don’t Make Me Think”

Optimized Ecommerce Optimize product descriptions and images Using the targeted keywords within the product’s description and Alt text for product images will help boost the product pages’ relevance scores Include a blog section If your ecommerce site has no blog section yet, add one, it benefits your site in so many ways! It allows your site to generate more organic traffic as blog posts have good chances of getting higher search rankings for long tail keywords Entries on your blogs, particularly those that are intentionally created to inform and educate readers can massively improve your site’s lead generation and conversions It puts emphasis to your brand’s expertise in the industry as you showcase it through publishing useful, entertaining and educational content.

Presence of physical business address and local phone numbers. Privacy policy, T&C’s, disclaimer, disclosure and testimonials page. Certificate badges from associations and/or organizations. FAQ pages linking to site’s important pages Providing answers to FAQ’s is essential to make your users feel at ease and to keep Google happy

Ensure you have links to relevant pages and submit to various directories: Docstoc, Scribd and Eric.ed.gov) Video product review Create product review videos, and other factual, funny, informative videos and submit them to youtube, vimeoetc for increased exposure! Press Releases These can provide high quality links to your website, and propel your site in Google!
