This simulation study investigates the neutron multiplicity detection capabilities of californium-252 (Cf-252) using a 3 MeV energy cut. The analysis includes data from 30,000 fission events for the source positioned at various locations: center, under the North tank, and under the South tank. The focus is on evaluating detection efficiency and multiplicity characteristics in each configuration. This work aims to enhance understanding of neutron detection in nuclear tracking and identification applications, providing insights for future improvements in detector technology.
