  2. 96-Plate Well/ Pipette Transfers This is where the solutions are put and mixed. It is an 8 by 12 welled plate. 8 manual pipettes used to transfer solutions into the wells.

  3. Safety Hoods This is the place where they perform the experiments. Always in a sterile environment so no bacteria can penetrate and disrupt the solutions.

  4. Precision Microplate Sample Processor Also knows as a liquid handler. This instrument is used to pipette multiple solutions at once just by programming it what to do. This is where they perform the experiments. This instrument is much faster and more accurate than manual pipetting.

  5. Fluorescent Microplate Reader This instrument is used to read the 96-well plate by fluorescent light and its wavelength.
