  2. To log onto the spectrum order portal you will need to first log onto the Sochi Rate Card at https://ratecard.sochi2014.com https://ratecard.sochi2014.com • You will then be prompted to enter in your user name and password Once your user name and password are entered click on Log On

  3. To start a new frequency request click on «Spectrum requests» Select «Create a new request»

  4. You will have to first select your Games time spectrum ordering period • Olympic and Paralympic Games - licenses valid from 1 January 2014 to 31 March 2014 • Olympic Games - valid from 1 January 2014 to 27 February 2014 • Olympic Games Opening&Closing Ceremony - valid on 7 February 2014 to 23 February 2014 • Paralympic Games - valid from 28 February 2014 to 31 March 2014 • Paralympic Games Opening&Closing Ceremony - valid on 7 March 2014 to 16 March 2014 • Test events 1-st phase – valid from 20 October 2012 to 14 January 2013 • Test events 2-nd phase – valid from 15 January 2013 to 14 April 2013 • Test events 3-rd phase – valid from 15 April 2013 to 14 July 2013 • Other – user defined. Note licence could be granted not longer then 90 days

  7. From the spectrum service menu you will have to select the piece of equipment you wish to use

  8. Please enter a preferred frequency that you would like to use during the Sochi 2014 Games. For simplex equipment Tx and Rx are the same. The Spectrum team will endeavor to assign this frequency if available. If you do not have a preferred frequency please leave this field blank and Sochi 2014 will assign you a frequency that is compatible with your equipment. Fill in the fields «Preferred frequency (MHz)»

  9. Please enter the frequency range that your equipment can be tuned to. For simplex equipment Tx and Rx bands are the same. If this information is unknown please contact your manufacturer. Note that this range should match with one of the frequency bands of the Sochi 2014 Frequency Allocation Plan for this type of service. If this information is unknown please contact 2014 OCOG Spectrum team (spectrum@sochi2014.com) Fill in the fields «Requested frequency band/Tuning range (MHz)» Fill in the fields «Radio manufacturer»и «Radio model number» Push

  10. The «Request details» area will be displayed on the «Spectrum request» page. Depending on the spectrum service chosen the system displays the «Request details» area associated with that service. If possible please complete the optional fields which will assist the spectrum management team in assigning a frequency. All spectrum requests must have the mandatory fields completed (*)

  11. Once when your equipment details are entered you will need to your order.Отправка заказа при этом не происходит и в дальнейшем вы сможете редактировать ваш заказ при необходимости. If you are confident your order is complete you will now need to your order to OCOG. A message box will appear having you confirming you wish to submit your order.

After submitting your order you will be automatically redirected to«My spectrum request» «Request Number» - is the unique order identifier «Status» - will update based on the current workflow : • «In progress – not submitted»- new orders that have not been submitted • «Submitted pending approval»- all orders that have been submitted • «Approved – pending frequency assignment by regulator»- OCOG spectrum management team has approved the spectrum order and has been submitted to Regulator for a frequency assignment • «License Granted»- spectrum assignment has been made «Copy Order» – will generate a new request number and copy over all the equipment information.
