  2. Purpose/Question:(What do I want to find out?) What will happen when you add baking soda and vinegar to popcorn kernels?

  4. Materials:(What do I need to conduct my experiment) • Dixie cup of popcorn kernels • Water • Vinegar • Baking soda • Clear plastic cup • Beaker • Spoon • Funnel

  5. Procedure:(What will you do? List step-by-step directions) • Pour popcorn kernels in a clear plastic cup. Add 50 ml of water into beaker. Pour water into plastic cup with popcorn kernels • Add 50ml of vinegar into beaker. Pour vinegar into plastic cup with water and kernels. • Observe… where are the kernels? • Add 1 teaspoon of baking soda Watch what happens….

  6. Results:(Show what happened in your experiment by using pictures ,charts, and/or graphs ) Vinegar + Water + Baking Soda = Magical popcorn
