Workshop Day: Revise & Share Your Poetry

DESCRIPTION

Today’s class focuses on revising and sharing your poetry. You’ll have the chance to work with partners (up to four) to refine your “Happy” poems and other pieces inspired by “Cody.” We’ll cover tips about using strong verbs and descriptive nouns to enhance your writing, getting rid of unnecessary words for clarity. After revisions, make a plan for your poetry chapbook. If you finish early, explore poetry books and share any interesting findings with your classmates. Let’s make every moment count in this creative workshop!
