This project focuses on designing and manufacturing a heat exchanger learning apparatus to enhance student understanding of heat exchangers and the parameters affecting their performance. The objective is to incorporate this device into the Mechanical Engineering Technology curriculum, allowing students to engage with three interchangeable bundles and utilize LabView software for data collection and analysis. Key activities include drilling for baffles and tubesheets, assembling bundles, and testing the apparatus. The project is currently 80% complete and encourages hands-on learning.
