  2. London is the capital of Great Britain, its political, economic and commercial centre. It’s one of the largest cities in the world and the largest city in Europe. Its population is about 8 million.

  3. Big Ben is the greatest clock of the Houses of Parliament of London.

  4. Tower Bridge is the famous bridge in London

  5. The Tower of London was Founded by William the Conqueror. Now it is a museum.

  6. British Museum is the biggest museum of London.

  7. St Paul’s Cathedral is the main cathedral in London.

  8. Trafalgar Square is the geographical centre of London. It was named in of Admiral Nelson’s victory in the battle of Trafalgar in 1805.

  9. The Thames River is the most important river in England.

  10. Westminster Abbey is the historical center of government. All British kings and queens are crowned there.

  11. Buckingham Palace is the official residence of the British Queen.

  12. Downing Street • It is a working place and a home of Prime- minister.

  13. Oxford Street • Oxford Street is London’s main shopping centre.

  14. Parks and Gardens of London London is a very rich in parks and gardens. Londoners love their parks and are proud of them.

  15. The Royal Parks are the property of the Royal family. The Royal Parks are the property of the Royal family. In central London they include Hyde Park, Green Park, St James’s Park, Regent’s Park and Kensington Gardens.

  16. Hyde Park Hyde Park is famous for its outdoor entertainments and its Speaker’s Corner. On a Sunday morning anyone can make a speech about something he believes to be very important.
