  2. Exposition • The story takes place in the small town of Coho, Montana. • The main character is Petey Shropshire who is a 15 year old high school wrestler. • His major conflict is an upcoming wrestling match with Chris Byers.

  3. Narrative Hook • Johnny Rivers pinches him and makes him stand up when the coach is looking for someone to wrestle Chris Byers.

  4. Climbing Action • When we find out Chris Byers is a girl. • Being nervous because Petey has to wrestle a girl • When they finally meet

  5. Climax • When they decide no matter whos team is winning they will fake a wrestling match to easy the tension between the two of them and it wont make a bit of difference.

  6. Falling Action • The falling action of the book is that Peteys team loses and Chris Byers team wins. • Petey is a little bit upset that he has lost but is also happy with the outcome in a way

  7. Resolution • The resolution of the story is that Chris Byers and Petey Shropshire have become friends. • They realize that they have a friendship worth keeping and not losing it over a wrestling match that would only last for 6 minutes or a friendship that could last forever.
