Texas Government Code 411.094 & 411.1405 • Access to Criminal Record Information: Institution of Higher Education • Limited to requests only for NSNR, student, or volunteer that: • Handles currency; • Has access to a computer terminal; • Has access to a master key; or • Works in a location designated as a security sensitive area

  3. Texas Government Code 411.085 • Unauthorized Obtaining, Use, or Disclosure of Criminal History Record Information; Penalty • Requests for a criminal history background in an unauthorized manner, uses the information in an unauthorized manner, or discloses the information to a person who is not entitled to the information • Class B misdemeanors • Felony to the second degree
