This project aims to improve medical students' understanding of end-of-life care through enhanced educational initiatives. Key learning outcomes include fostering comfort with discussions about death, promoting a holistic patient-centered approach, and applying medical ethics related to end-of-life issues. The program incorporates lunch lectures, curricular adaptations, volunteer opportunities, and seminars focusing on relevant topics such as advanced directives and different cultural perspectives on death. The collaboration with existing student organizations enriches the learning experience and encourages student engagement with hospice care.
