  3. Our Tree! The best thing about our tree was that we got to see how much it changed over time. The thing we enjoyed most about this project was being outside and working hands on with the tree.

Interesting Facts • Leaves grow up to 15 in wide • The fruit of the sycamore is the woody ball • The seed of the fruit has brown hairs • Sycamores can be male or female • The name Sycamore comes from the Greek sukomoros Wood Type: hardwood Purpose: makes furniture, interior joinery, paneling, and moldings
