7. Cathy is making something. Let’s see what she is making. Here are the materials she has: scissors, glue, needles and thread. Now, she will start making a sock puppet of a cat. 10. First, remove the cover from the old shoe box. Wrap the shoe box and the cover with plain wrapping paper and sticky tape. Book p.18-19 Next, cut out some pictures of your favourite things from magazines or newspapers. Cut out pictures of your favourite singer or actor, your favourite animals or even your favourite food! Lastly, glue the pictures onto the shoe box and the shoe box cover. Decorate your treasure box with stamps, stickers, or photographs of yourself, your family and friends!

11. The word in bold are imperatives. They give commands, orders or instructions. In imperative sentences, we drop the pronoun ‘you’. Book p.20 We usually use imperative sentences in instruction.

12. Peter and Dan were playing with Peter’s new train set. There were some trucks, an engine, a signal and some shiny tracks. “Let’s make a station and a tunnel,” said Dan. They got boxes, paper, scissors, glue and paint. First, Peter cut an arch from both ends of a box. He stuck crumpled paper over it and painted it green. “look at this tunnel!” he said. Then, Dan stuck a lid onto a box and added a roof.
