  6. REQUIREMENTS Every Unit progresses the same. Every Unit begins with a Pre-Test and ends with a Post-Test.

  7. IMPORTANT ALL Post-Tests and End of Semester Tests MUST be completed in lab 9 at McDowell during scheduled lab hours

  8. PRETESTS The better you do on a Pretest, the less you have to do in the Unit. Based on how well you performed, you may be exempt from assignments. You may skip those assignments.

  9. MODULES Go in Order Tutorial ApplicationorPractice Mastery Test or Test **Do not do the offline that follows a Mastery Test or Test

  10. IMPORTANT On ALL tests the score MUST be 70% or higher. If you reach 80% the system will grant you Mastery.

  11. MASTERY TESTS MASTERY TEST LOCKED MASTERY TEST If you do not receive a 70% or higher, a lock will appear beside the Mastery Test/Test. To remove this lock; you can redo the tutorial, the lock will go away, and you can retake the Mastery Test/Test. You can unlock the test on your own three times before you have to stop by the lab to discuss the issue.

  12. IMPORTANT The fastest and most effective way to finish is to go in order, Module by Module and Unit by Unit.

  13. OFFLINE ACTIVITIES How many? Math – ALL English – One per Unit Science – One per Unit Social Studies – One per Unit

  14. IMPORTANT Offline Activities MUST be printed out and turned in to Mr. Messer before a Post-Test will be unlocked.

  15. UNIT ACTIVITY The Unit Activity does not apply to all courses yet. If you do not have a Unit Activity, refer to Offline Activity requirements.

  16. UNIT ACTIVITY UPLOAD AND SAVE THE UNIT ACTIVITY TO YOUR COMPUTER UPLOAD AND SUBMIT THE UNIT ACTIVITY TO PLATO The Unit Activity MUST be closed in order to upload the file into PLATO.
