  3. Facts • They produce eggs and the eggs are laid and then hatch • Three body parts ; head, thorax, abdomien • 2 antennaes , 3 pairs of legs , two sets of wings • They make their own protiens , also builds organisms molecules iside their body

  4. SYNTHESIS • Insects make their own proteins and also build organic molecules inside their body

  5. TRANSPORT • Insects have an open circulatory system so their blood moves freely inside their body

  6. EXCRETION • Insects have a hindgut and their food moves through it and then exits their body through their anal

  7. NUTRITION • Insects are Heterotrophic • They normally eat nectar,blood,organisms,plants

  8. RESPIRATION • They use this oxygen to help make energy with their food when they breathe in oxygen through their abdomen that oxygen goes directly to the cells

  9. GROWTH/DEVELOPMENT • Insects develop from an egg into an adult through a procces called metamorphis

  10. REGULATION • They use their hormones to communicate within their body and help the degulate their body . They also use antennae’s and eyes for regulation

  11. REPRODUCTION • Sexually they produce eggs and then hatch
