  3. HYPOTHESIS We think that the 5W will be the hottest light bulb. We think that the 50w will be the coolest. MENU

  4. MATERIALS 4 Different light bulbs A lamp 2 thermometers Stopwatch Camera to take pictures Shoebox for group demonstration MENU

  5. PROCEDURE Put a light bulb #1 into the lamp and turn the lamp on. Hold the thermometer on the light bulb for 2 minutes and write down the temperature. Turn off the lamp. Let the light bulb cool down before you remove the bulb. Let the thermometer return back to room temperature. Repeat steps 1-3 with light bulb #2,#3, and #4. Measure the temperature of each light bulb 2 times. MENU

  8. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION The 70W light bulb produced the most heat. This light bulb has most watts. And it was the brightest because the shape is all connected. The only one that was not energy efficient. We would buy the 50W light bulb because it is in the middle of heat and brightness and it is energy efficient. The brightest bulb is the one with the highest temperature. MENU
