Article Search Usability Testing Findings Recommendations Pilot projects to integrate an EDS search bar into the databases page on a library website and improve visibility in Enterprise catalogs Investigate options with RAILS for a base package for SWAN with EBSCO Work with EBSCO to improve linking to other vendor resources • It is difficult for patrons to get to Article Search from the library website • EDS works best with EBSCO products • Gale resources can be integrated but are more difficult to access • ProQuest resources cannot be integrated into EDS

Cataloging Library Overview • Welcome to Eisenhower! • Requirements • Point person to acts as lead • Existing cataloging training and experience • Commitment to cataloging in all formats and languages • Commitment to following established cataloging standards • Application Process • Form • Interview
Cataloging Library Overview • Training and Quality Assurance • Self-paced review of SWAN standards and OCLC documentation • In-person procedural training and configuration • SWAN does not provide full cataloging training • Review process with Bibliographic Services Consultant • Inheritance • The point person is the certified entity responsible for all staff • If point person leaves the library, SWAN review determines continued membership • This process is under review • New training materials, application, and documentation later this year
