  1. NIH Consensus Development Conference:Inhaled Nitric Oxide Therapy for Premature Infants F. Sessions Cole, M.D. Panel and Conference Chairperson Dr. Cole is the Park J. White, M.D. Professor of Pediatrics, Vice Chancellor for Children’s Health, and Vice Chairperson for the Department of Pediatrics, and the Director of the Division of Newborn Medicine at the Washington University School of Medicine. He is also the Chief Medical Officer of the St. Louis Children’s Hospital. Dr. Cole’s research interests focus on understanding the genetic mechanisms that disrupt pulmonary surfactant metabolism and cause neonatal respiratory distress syndrome.
