  3. eLearning Delaware • eLearning Delaware uses a Web-based model to provide effective professional development that expands teachers’ content knowledge, enhances teacher use of various instructional strategies, and promotes active reflection on teaching practices.

Course Development • Science Professional Development: Required • Convert Face-to-Face PD to Online PD • 6th Grade: Earth History • 7th Grade: Weather • 8th Grade: Delaware Watersheds • Blackboard (Course Management System) • Support Science Content with Video • Produced by WHYY • Consultation with DOE Science Personnel

  5. WHYY Production • WHYY producer worked closely with DE science educators to map out video pieces • Collaboration is critical • Combined curriculum/instructional expertise (DE) with digital video production expertise (WHYY)
