  11. Schedule: • 1st 8:25 – 9:10/ELT • 2nd9:10 – 10:15 • 3rdL 10:15 – 11:45 (Lunch 11:23 – 11:43) • 4th 11:45 – 12:40 (Connections) • 5th12:40 – 1:35 (Connections) • 6th1:35 - 2:40 • 7th 2:40 - 3:45 Schedule and Bells

Take out ALL that you need from your pack- composition book, agenda, HW, pen/pencil… • Open your agenda to today’s date and place it on your desk. • You need to be ACTIVELY unpacking, getting ready for class, Doing the DO NOW within 3 minutes. • If you are not, YOU ARE TARDY!!! Entering Class

  13. Unpack EVERYTHING that you need for class- pencil/pen, agenda, notebook, folder etc… • Place backpacks under your tables OUT OF THE WAY. • Please DO NOT get into your pack once class starts. (if you develop a habit of getting into your bag all class, I will find a special home for it!) Backpacks

  14. 1 Composition Book (for a journal) • 3 ring binder with folders/dividers and loose leaf paper 1 ½ “ is good • Pens (black or blue) and Pencils • Hand held pencil sharpener • Highlighter, markers and/or colored pencils • Glue stick and/or tape • PLEASE TRY AND HAVE THIS BY MONDAY SO WE CAN SET UP NOTEBOOKS. Materials

Water: • Clear bottle- no flavor packets • Refill from back sinks • Refill or get a drink at fountain when returning from connections • Restroom: • Agenda- 2 RR passes per day in addition to HR and Lunch. I will sign the calendar w/ time and initials. Please DO NOT interrupt my teaching to ask to go to the RR- we will develop a signal or wait until a pause occurs. • NO RESTROOM BETWEEN CLASSES • Passes: • In your agenda- media etc… • Pencil Sharpening: • Before class • Electric- NOT while I am talking/teaching • Hand sharpeners- your own at the table. Restroom, Passes, and Pencil Sharpening

  16. Trash • Recycling • Cans/bottles • Paper • Cardboard • Cleaning/Picking Up • Take care of your own mess and hopefully you won’t have to deal with others’ messes. • 1 class per week- Responsible for room clean-up Classroom Maintenance

Turn in assignments on time • Due at the start of class • Hand into drawer in back • If you know you will be out when something is due (sports, doctor…), you must hand it in before you leave. • ABSENT/SICK- work handed in late due to absence is also handed in the drawer. Include name, date, and title. • LATE WORK- turn it in! HW loses 10 pts per day. • NO NAME??!! Lose 5 pts!!! Assignments/Handing in Work

  18. It is due the day it is due. • Late homework or classwork will be accepted but you will lose points each day it is late. • Projects- if it is late, 15 points off each day it is late. Nothing accepted after 3 days late. • YOU MUST HAVE YOUR NAME ON • WHAT YOU HAND IN!! Due Dates

  19. School policies are followed. • Absences calendar- look the day you return to see what you need to do. To get any handouts you missed, Look for the DAY’S folder (M-F), and then the DATE on it. Take ONE of the worksheets for that date • Your responsibility • I will not remind you. • You have 1 week to make up tests and quizzes ON YOUR OWN TIME. Absences

  20. 1st- Verbal warning • 2nd- Time out to another class; Parent notification • 3rd–team detention; parent notification • (Automatic office referral after 5 detentions) • 4th and beyond- office referral; parent notification 7B Discipline

  21. The teacher dismisses you – not the bell or your watch. • Do not start packing until told to do so • If you start packing early, I’ll assign more homework! THE END OF THE DAY: Car riders and bus riders first, then walkers, clubs, and sports (stay in this room) EXIT - in a line up the hallway and out of the school at main entrance or bus loop. Dismissal
