Criteria for Activation • Activation criteria for initiating the agency responses to a particular event depends upon the event • General event listing can be found in the draft 2008 NPSDAP (pg 3-4) • Recommend reviewing: • Tables 3-2, Response Procedures (pgs 3-5 to 3-6) • Table 3-3 Data Acquisition Procedures (pg 3-6 to 3-8)

  3. Methods of Coordination • The first WG PSDA member to see the need for data collection notifies the rest of the team via email for an initial telecon or meeting. • 2 ways to hold meetings • Teleconference (agencies or OFCM can set up) • HSIN virtual meeting (will talk more about this later)

  4. Methods of Data Sharing • Each agency backs up own collected data • Info from each agency and collected data types is located on Metadata website: • http://www.ofcm.noaa.gov/wg-ndr-psda/index.htm

  5. Event Summaries • When a PSDA event involves more than one agency, OFCM shall complete a NPSDAP event summary using: • Collected data from event • Agency event summaries • Summaries can be found at: http://www.ofcm.noaa.gov/wg-ndrpsda/eventsum.htm
