Microscope Review Preparing the slides • Cut a piece of leaf • Place on the cover slide • Put 1 drop of water on the slide • Place the cover slip carefully over the leaf Microscope Procedure • Place the slide on the stage, put stage clips • Make sure the objective lenses are on 4x • Raise the arm up • Look in the eyepiece and see the image • Use the fine adjustment knob to see a clear image • Draw the picture of the leaf in your journal
