Occupational and Environmental Health Program • Purpose • Protect Health of members while enhancing combat and operational capabilities • Mitigate OEH-related risks (risk management) • MDG/CC Responsibilities • Responsible for OEH Program (including GSUs) • Assigns(in writing) OEH Medical Consultant and, Chair OEHWG (usually SGP) • Ensures OEHMC (or designated full-time rep) attends Federal Employee Compensation Act (FECA) Working Group

Occupational and Environmental Health Program • SGP Responsibilities • Leads Aerospace Medicine execution of OEH Program • Establishes OEHWG under the direction of the AMC • Ensures, at a minimum, the following reps participate in OEHWG • FM • BE • PH • Ensures integration of OEHWG activities with Safety, CE, Fire and Emergency Services, Injury Compensation Specialist & HRO • Ensures appropriate Medical Surveillance Examination (MSE) are accomplished IAW AFI 48-145 paragraph 4.4 • Ensures MSEs are conducted based on recommendations from OEHWG

I’m a surgeon…how am I supposed to do that? • NGB/SGPB has developed 11 template AF Form 2766 and companion Reference Documents intended for the OEHWG to adapt the template for local use • Petroleum, Oils and Lubricants (POL) • Structural Repair • Vehicle Maintenance • Weapons Element • Aircraft Ground Equipment (AGE)

Occupational and Environmental Health Program • AF Form 2766 and companion Reference Document • Fire Department • Fuel Systems Repair • Phase Dock • Jet Engine • Metals Technology • Non-Destructive Inspection (NDI) • Phase II will be to develop OEHWG guidance and templates for meeting agendas and minutes
