  4. Syllable Type: “Closed” • Starts with a Consonant (b, c, d, f, g, h, j, k,l, m, n p, q, r, s, t, v, w, x, y, z) • Next letter is a Vowel (a, e, i, o, u and y) • Ends with a Consonant • Proof: CVC (consonant/vowel/consonant) • Label as “C” for Closed syllable
