  1. Welcome to the 2008-2009 Hopkins High School Baseball Season

  2. Hopkins Baseball • Varsity: Neil Lerner, Pat Berger, Jeff Gagstetter • Junior Varsity: Jon Smart • Sophomore: Jon Gallop • 9th grade - Kevin Strong and Eric Beal

  3. 2009 season • Tryouts are the week of March 16th • Captains Practice will start on Thursday, Jan 10th and will occur: • Thursday mornings from 6-7:30 AM AND • Sunday evenings from 5-7 PM at Lindbergh Center

  4. Spring Break • Practices and games are scheduled for soph, JV, and Varsity teams • We are still looking into the possibility of taking a trip during this time with the Varsity team.

  5. Legion & Jr. Legion Tryouts • Sept 20 & Sept 27 - Summer tryouts • Legion 8-10:30 AM • Jr. Legion 10:30 - 1:00

  6. Field Clean up Date • Saturday Oct, 11th starting at 7:00 AM at the Varsity Field • Please brink a rake, shovel, wheelbarrow if you can

  8. Salt Sale Fundraiser • Players asked to sell 30 bags of salt • Any additional bag will reduce player pack cost by $2 • All forms and moneyneed to be turned into Coach Lerner’s box by Wed, Oct 15 • Pick up is on Sat, Nov 1st from 8-11 AM at North Junior High

  9. MYAS basketball tourney • Sunday’s 9/21, 9/28, 10/5, 10/12 at Lindbergh Center • Players - please sign up for a shift before you leave today • Parents - Bill Greene will be contacting you to cover a shift

  10. Diamond Club Dinner • Set for Sunday evening Feb 8, 2009 at Hopkins VFW. • Players will be asked to sell 10 tickets to Dinner • Please help us out!
