  2. Objectives • To demonstrate some of the available ICT resources • To consider how the course can be followed up to strengthen mathematics teaching and learning

Course aims The course set out to help you to: • teach pupils to understand, use and apply mental and written methods of division • teach the three strands of using and applying mathematics more effectively • provide early algebraic activities from which later work in algebra can develop • use day-to-day assessment to inform your teaching and enhance pupils’ progress • use ICT more effectively in your teaching
