  4. Evaluation • Enterprise Nick Medforth Head of Enterprise Paul Jones is well known for his work with credit unions and this has attracted funding. Also Simon Rahilly

  5. Work planned • Services for children with cerebral palsy and their families. Based on previous work supported by HTA. Bid with Alder Hey to go to ‘Research for Patient Benefit’ . Small grant to survey CDCs to explore the processes they use to allocate services to children with CP and their families. Sheila Glenn • Linda Mason has a bid in to look at menorrhagia in women with Down syndrome • Linda Mason is completing an RCT on pelvic floor exercise in pregnancy and following childbirth and possible preventative effects on incontinence. Follow up with larger bid • Linda has worked on emergency contraception for under-age girls

  6. Work planned • Joint bid on pain management for children with severe disabilities will be resubmitted with a number of colleagues probably to RPB again. Sheila Glenn • Joint bid on education services for children with SEN (including identification) will be submitted to ESRC/MRC initiative. Sheila Glenn
