  2. DISCONNECTION • RESULTS to discomfort, inconvenience, insecurity, etc.. • DISCONNECTED YOUTH/individuals -attitude, socially inept, immaturity -usually have difficulties in expressing love • DISCONNECTED CHRISTIAN -spiritually dead, do not bear fruit, poor social skills

  3. 3 REMINDERS: • God Is The Source • Stay Connected To The Source • Continue To Grow

God is the Source • James 1: 17 "Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with Whom there is no variation or shadow of turning” • He is the Source, but He uses different ways to bless us -circumstance -nature -people Examples: Jonah (whale), Balaam (donkey), David (stones) Etc… ---> unusual “messengers” • God will use you too if you’re willing

Stay Connected to the Source • John 3: 27 "A man can receive nothing unless it has been given to him from Heaven” “How many caskets can we witness before we see it's hard to live This life without God, so we must ask forgiveness.”-Tupac Shakur • God is our powerhouse(power) and antenna(signal) -without Him we’ll have no power and direction

  6. Continue to Grow • 2 Peter 3:18 “But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever! Amen.” • We should bear fruits • If we don’t, we will be pruned • But pruning process intends to help us grow Proverbs 24:16 “For a righteous man falls seven times, and rises up again; But the wicked are overthrown by calamity. “ • We should not give up.. • PERSISTENCE is very important in our spiritual journey -mature Christians have a different view towards TRIAL -they see it as blessing and opportunity

  7. APPLICATION: • We Should Always Stay Connected To God • Be It In Times Of Trials And Temptations • We Should Continue To Develop Our Maturity GODBLESS!
