Reinforce EnR awareness with European Union institutions, International Energy Agency, International Renewable Energy Agency through active participation in meetings and public events of current Troika members • Partnership agreements with local and regional energy agencies, mainly leveraging EnR position through effective and institutional support to municipalities initiatives having as scope the “Covenance of Mayors” agreement. • Web link agreements with top 20 EU energy web sites Three themes for 2009’s presidency • New EnR membership agreements • Assess agreements with European associations (EnergieCités, FEDEREN...) • Establish initial contacts with non European agencies (eg.: Pan American, Africa) Communication 1 Top down communication 2 Bottom up communication • Best practice sharing of competences and skills of EnR members via EnR WG • Promote start up concepts (e.g., regarding EPBD national implementation) 3 Communication Global Networking 1 European Partnership Global Partnership 2 Best Practice Sharing 1 Fasten adoption of best practices
