  5. Experience has taught us that perhaps the much-debated alignment pin was a good idea Reaffirmation of the Current Standard • ANSI/ISA reaffirmation of the Standard is due in 2007 • Parker proposes inclusion of the clocking pin as an option into the reaffirmed standard
