Europeana provides over 200 million records, 25 million full-text resources, and 10 million digital objects from various libraries. The platform offers APIs for researchers for metadata access, provenance tracking, reproducibility, and preservation services. Researchers can utilize synchronous and asynchronous services, OpenSearch JSON API, LOD/SparQL service, and engage with infrastructures like DARIAH, CLARIN, and EHRI. Europeana also supports curated collections, full-text services, crowd-sourced content, and virtual collections. The European Library and Europeana are set to release their metadata corpora for open use by the research community, with data available under CC0 license.
