  5. Respect and Responsibility Students are expected to exhibit Respect, Responsibility, and self-control at all times. Responsibility – turning in assignments timely, being prepared for class, following directions, etc. Respect – be considerate of other’s feelings, use manners, respect school and personal property. Follow the Golden Rule. Self Control- hands and feet to self, appropriate voice levels, blurting Students who receive more than three behavior marks in a 6-week period will not be allowed to attend the behavior celebration at the end of the year. As a learning community, students will also be rewarded as a whole class for exhibiting positive behaviors.

  6. Agendas Your child’s agenda is a very important tool in keeping them organized. Everyday your child will record important information and/or homework in their agenda. Every night he/she is expected to have a parent/guardian sign their agenda. A signature tells us that you have acknowledged everything written in the agenda and your child has finished his/her homework for the night. The reading and math log is also included underneath the signature section. The students are expected to record their start time and end time. Parents will initial each log to verify students have completed the task.

  7. Snack Students will have a 10 minute working snack time around 9:50 each morning. Your child must bring his/her own snack if they choose to have one. We ask that your child bring a nutritious snack that is easy to eat while working.

  8. Other Important Info Please fill out an allergy form AND talk to Nurse Moreno if your child has any food allergies.
