Upcoming Events. Balfour Primary will be hosting an Art Exhibition again this year. It will take place on Saturday 18 th May between 11am and 2pm. We will have a historical theme and every child will have a piece of art work on display. More details can be found on the newsletter.

  1. Upcoming Events Balfour Primary will be hosting an Art Exhibition again this year. It will take place on Saturday 18th May between 11am and 2pm. We will have a historical theme and every child will have a piece of art work on display. More details can be found on the newsletter. Everyone welcome

  2. KS2 Playground We are reminding parents that children should not be dropped off at school before 8.45am. We have noticed that some children are waiting, unsupervised in the playground. The teachers are on duty from 8.45am and are there to supervise the children as they come into school. During this time parents may leave their children if they wish to.

  4. Assemblies Foundation Stage • May 10th at 9.05 in the KS1 hall Robins and Nightingales Assembly May 17th at 9.05 in the KS1 hall Wrens and Sparrows Assembly

  5. KS1/FS Lunchtime Consultation for Parents of children in Foundation Stage, Year 1 and Year 2. Tuesday 14th May at 9.00-10.00 in the KS1 Hall Susie Haworth and Paul Aagart from Brighton and Hove School Meals Team will be hosting this session and listening to your views on how to improve lunchtime procedures from the point of view of parents. After the consultation stage a summary report will be written and an action plan will be drawn up. We will continue to update you on any changes.

  6. Walk to School Week Week Beginning 20th May is Walk to School Week. Children can get stickers if they have walked to school that day.

  7. School Council Slide For the Summer Term, and for the first time, the School Council has chosen to support a charity that looks after animals, the RSPCA. We would like to raise some money to help protect animals. The School Council proposes that everyone dresses up as an animal onFriday 24th May. A voluntary contribution of 50p would be most welcome. If you wish to, you may come into school with your face already painted. We look forward to seeing everyone’s costumes! The School Council
