They went home. • Mary thought someone stole Jesus body • This is the mountaintop of all stories • From trees in the garden of Eden- Cedars of the Covenant- the Sycamore Tree story..

Resurrection and the Tree of Life • Leaves = total whole life healthiness • “No longer will there be any curse.” • Meaning of Easter is in John’s view of Heaven. • In the city of our God • -by the river of the water of life • -around the tree of life • -We will see his face –uninterrupted – forever! • This is as certain as that we are here!

  7. Resurrection and the Tree of Life • Certainly Jesus “has risen, just as he said.” • there will no longer be any curse. • Jesus asked Mary, “Why are you crying? Who is it you’re looking for?” • When in trouble we’re looking for Jesus • We share His resurrection and victory over sin • Whatever comes our way, we’re looking to you, Lord Jesus!”
