Today, your child learned about moving objects and inertia, understanding how objects stay in motion unless acted upon by an outside force. Through hands-on activities, they explored collisions and momentum using a clacker toy. Stay engaged with their learning journey!

Today, your child had an opportunity to learn about moving objects and the idea of inertia. Students learned that when an object is in motion it stays in motion unless acted on by an outside force. This is why when a skateboard suddenly stops the rider keeps moving forward … ouch! They also learned that when two objects of the same size collide, they go in opposite directions equally. To demonstrate this, your child has brought home a clacker toy to remind them of all they learned today! Thanks, FDK Team
