Our mission is to identify skill deficiencies and develop personalized lesson plans that address academic, behavioral, emotional, and social growth. We offer a range of services including early enrichment, academic interventions, test preparation, homework assistance, and behavior modification plans. Each child receives comprehensive support based on research-based strategies monitored by licensed professionals. We believe that ALL CHILDREN CAN LEARN!

Vivaciousness; liveliness; animation • We go beyond “tutoring” • Research-based • Each individual case is monitored by a school psychologist • Improve behavior, self-esteem, efficiency, and build problem-solving skills • ALL CHILDREN CAN LEARN!

  5. Early Enrichment • Targets verbal and nonverbal communication skills • Alphabetic principles and numeric sense are introduced • Life skills are addressed • Encourage creativity • Used manipulatives to define fine motor skills • Sharpen problem-solving skills

Test Preparation • SAT-10 • FCAT • EOC • Advanced Placement courses • SAT/ACT • Research-based program • Caters to standardized assessments • Diagnostic Assessment • Accommodates to smoothen the transition between Florida Next Generation Sunshine State Standards to Common Core State Standards Initiative • (full implementation 2014-15)

  8. Homework Assistance • Use of an agenda/computer • Prioritize homework to maximize time allotments • Communication efforts will be made to collaborate with school • Assist with managing class projects • Relieves parent assisting, which may increases a positive parent-child relationship.

  9. Behavior Modification Plans • Assess the Function of the behavior • ABC • Develop behavior intervention to be implemented in the home/school • Communication efforts will be made to collaborate with the school • Parent briefing • Modeling • Monitoring

  10. Parent Workshops • Developed as needed • Workshops include parents of children with the following: • Attention deficit-Hyperactivity Disorder • Autism • Dyslexia • Slow learners • Emotional concerns • Fostering a positive parent/child relationship

  11. Advocacy/Consultation • You are your child’s greatest advocate! • Communicate with teacher(s) • Mediation • Accompany parents to conferences • Evaluate cases for educational options • Clarify procedures
