  2. Task Force Name Change • Leave as “Task Force” OR • Change to “Technical Committee”

  3. Task Force Meeting Frequency • Change “shall” to “should not meet more than 6 days per year” OR • “Shall not meet more than 6 days per year EXCEPT with approval of SCOD Chair”

  4. Task Force Work Plans • Continue as is: Brief presentations/reports to SCOD at yearly meeting and written reports to SCOH • Require Task Forces to submit work plans to Executive Council prior to annual meeting for review. Council will identify “issues” to bring forward to SCOD for info or action?? Work plans will be distributed to SCOD at meeting for information.

  5. Work Plans…continued • Work Plans will be submitted to SCOD prior to meeting. SCOD will have an item on the agenda to “discuss and approve.” OR • Combination • Should Work Plans include the development of a Strategic Plan for the task force?

  6. Research Proposed by Task Forces • Proposed research listed as part of the yearly work plans OR • Proposed research submitted to Executive Council for approval or review

  7. Task Force Chairs • Should task force chairs be members of SCOD? OR • Should we simply add the task force chair to the SCOD “mailing” list and make the current SCOD member from that state responsible for coordination with the chair? • Should task force chairs be elected from within the task force membership OR be appointed by the SCOD Chair (based on recommendations)?

  8. Task Force Membership • Should one or more task force members be from SCOD? • Should this member be from the same State as the Chair? OR • Should the member be appointed from those interested with no restriction on state? • Require task force member representative from their state.
