  1. Steps • Open Hotmail.com Homepage in your Browser. Hotmail has it’s another name Outlook.com, you can use both name in any browser. • You can recover inactive accounts for up to 365 days since the last time you logged in. You can recover it manually anytime.

  2. 2 Click the “Can’t access your account ?” link. You can find this Beneaththe Email & password fields.

  3. 3 Select“I forgot my password” and Click on“Next”.

  4. 4Enter the Email address you need access to in “Microsoft Account” field. Fill out the Captcha then Click on“Next”.

  5. 5 Select a Verification Procedure. You have to choose a Verification method in order to gain access into your account again. Click on the Tab above to get a verification code and Tap on “Next”.

  6. 6 Fill out the form Feilds(if Necessary). If you had chosen another Tab in previous form, you have to fill it and this will send the verification code to your alternative email that you entered once.

  7. 7Get your Verification code via Email. If you have selected the Email for Verification method, Get your verification code in your alternative email. Check your Email, Inbox and if not found anything so check it again in Spam(Junk) Folder.

  8. 8Enter your Verification code received in your Alternative Email Id.

  9. 9Reset your Password. As of now you have your account access again, Createyour new Password. Always remember your password and make it easy for you and hard for others to predict.
