  1. Steps • Open Hotmail.com Homepage. Hotmail has it’s another name Outlook.com, you can use it also for the same. • You can recover inactive accounts for up to 365 days since the last time you logged in. You can recover it manually anytime.

  2. 2 Click the “Can’t access your account ?” link. You can find this below the email & password fields.

  3. 3 Click on “I forgot my password” and go to “Next”.

  4. 4Enter the Email address you need access to in “Microsoft Account” field. Fill out the Captcha then go to “Next”.

  5. 5 Choosea Verification Method. You have to choose a Verification method in order to access your account again. Click on any optionabove to get a verification code and click on “Next”.

  6. 6 Fill out the Requirements(if Necessary). If you had chosen another Optionin previous form, you have to fill it and this will send the verification code to your alternative email that you entered when you created your account.

  7. 7Get your Verification code via Email. If you have selected the Email for Verification method, Get your verification code in your alternative email. Check your Alternative Email.

  9. 9Change your Password. As of now you have your account access again, Createyour new password so that you can Log In.
