Save the Dates on your Calendar August 13 – Bringing Nature Indoors August 23 - LEED GA Exam Prep Course October 8 – USGBC North Alabama Golf Tournament Sample Photo Back to Basics – LEED V3, Credentialing & Maintenance • Presented By: Scott Beck, Chair, USGBC Alabama Chapter • In April 2009, USGBC officially launched version 3 of the LEED™ Green Building Rating System.  With this new version came several changes to how projects receive Certification and the way professionals earn credentials.  This program will give attendees a strong overview of the following topics: • LEED V3 Green Building Rating System, including the types, the levels of certification, and information about each system • Process for Registering and Certifying a project seeking LEED Certification • Types of LEED Professional Credentials • How to become a LEED Green Associate and/or LEED AP with Specialty • GBCI’s Credential Maintenance Program for LEED AP’s with Specialty • I’m a LEED AP without specialty…..what now? • Location: • J.F. Drake State Technical College, Downtown Campus • 228 Holmes Ave. NE, Huntsville, AL 35801 • (Times Building, SW corner of Holmes and Greene) • Parking is available in the City of Huntsville parking lots on the east and north sides of the building. • When: • Thursday, July 22, 2010 11:30am-1:00 pm • Registration Fee: • Free for Alabama Chapter Members.
