Understanding the Continuum of Violence: Ranking Harmful Behaviors

DESCRIPTION

This activity focuses on the continuum of violence, illustrating how seemingly minor actions can escalate into serious harm. Participants are invited to rank various behaviors, ranging from non-violent acts like teasing and eye-rolling to explicitly violent actions such as hitting with objects or using a gun. By analyzing these behaviors, we highlight the progression from less to more violent acts, promoting awareness of how early interventions can prevent escalation. Extra lines are provided for participants to include additional behaviors they consider violent.
