  1. DO NOW:1. Take out your handout from last class.2. Fill in your Admit Slip quietly. You will be graded on this.3. Raise your hand when you are done and I will call you up to get your computer. Please be patient.You will NOT get a computer until you are quiet.Once you have your computer:Login and Load up Illustrator. Turn your computer facing forward so I know you are ready.

  2. GRADING POLICY • Every day I will walk around and put a check mark or a minus if you have done the work on the handout or admit slip, and if you have your handouts. This is part of your grade. GRADE BREAKDOWN: • Projects and Mini Projects (50%)Homework (10%)Class work (40%)

  3. Demonstration Today • Shape Tools • Appearance Box Reminder: If we can get through the demonstration without talking you get the privilege of working with music. I will let you know. If you have login issues please wait until our demonstration is done.

  4. Time to Practice • Everything I showed you is on your handout. • Please be patient. I will come to help you as soon as I can. • You will be using these tools this week for our first mini project in Illustrator. • Practice and experiment with the tools. This is the best way to get good at using them. • Be patient.

  5. BACKUP TIME • SAVE YOUR WORK • BACK UP TO GOOGLE DRIVE • LOGOUT • DO NOT CLOSE THE LAPTOP • TURN IT AROUND FACING THE FRONT ON THE NUMBER
