Lamb of God-Omaha • January 2003, the need for a church start envisioned • March 2003, first Divine Service was held at Lamb of God • June 2003, recognized as a member of the LCMS • June 2003, Philip Houser was called to serve as Administrative Pastor. • Strategically located at 72nd and L Street right off of I-80 • September 23, 2007-Dedication service

  7. 1C-Columbus • From Hanger 7 at Columbus Airport, to a garage, to a place 1C now calls home, a former Sunmart store in the heart of Columbus, NE • January 2007, Jerry Steger graduated from the Lay Leadership program of the Nebraska District LCMS • December of 2005, Jerry was commissioned at Peace, Columbus, to head up a mission church • 1C’s goals: • Reaching out to those in the community who do not attend church • Focus on those who have stopped attending church regularly

Word of Life-NW Lincoln area • Served by Vicar Larry Oetting. • A church plant in the NW Lincoln area, one of the fastest growing areas in Lincoln • Plans are to be located in the Fallbrook or surrounding area, near Hwy. 34, west of N 1st street, or near 14th street north of I-80 • Word of Life’s goals: • Draw the de-churched to the life-giving message of Christ • Draw the non-churched to the life-giving message of Christ • Through: • Methods, language, and worship

  29. Trinity, Grand Island • Vicars Marwang, Gatkuoth, and Riang; and Rev. Deang are meeting with Sudanese in Grand Island to start worship services • Rev. Rinehart will help them to find a place of worship and office space at Trinity • Sudanese leaders will take turns leading worship services • Services will begin September 30

Beautiful Savior and Cross, Omaha • Currently Obdulio has: • Completed Old Testament studies • Completed New Testament studies • Started studies in Doctrine Obdulio Felix, his wife, Yoliza, and their three children (David, and Marianne, and a newborn) prepare to do missionary work in Omaha. A joint effort between Beautiful Savior and Cross. • In September Obdulio will: • Enroll at the Center for Hispanic Studies, Concordia Seminary, St. Louis • Begin training for pastoral ministry

Hispanic Ministry • In the meantime Obdulio: • Will grow in his understanding of Lutheran theology • Is adapting to life in the United States • Is forming relationships with Omaha Hispanics • Assists with worship using his music abilities • Is teaching Bible studies under pastoral supervision
