  3. WHAT IS IT????? Its when the electrical signals in the 2 upper chambers of the heart beat to quickly…resulting in an irregular fast heartbeat rhythm Also known as arrhythmia!!!!!

  4. !!!!THE CAUSE!!!! • It starts when electrical signals begin in a different part of the atrium instead of the sinoatrial nodes causing the conduction to be abnormal and rapid • Congestive heart failure • Over active thyroid • Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy

  5. SIGNS AND SYMPTOMS Pulse feels: rapid, fluttery, irregular Palpitation Shortness of breath Confusion, Dizziness ,Fatigue

  6. !!!COMPLICATIONS!!! The heart can not pump blood into the vessels. Causing a pool of blood to form and cause a clot Increased risk of stroke because the heart does not pump all the blood efficiently. Also lead to heart failure. Fainting risk
