What Is A Green Ambassador ? • Being a part of the WWF Green • Ambassador scheme means that it is our job to help raise awareness of the planet. We need to help to try and stop global warming. Global warming is where there are too many gases rising up and damaging Earth’s protective layers within the atmosphere which causes the poles to melt and low lying cities will flood. We will show you the green ambassador characters now.
Earth • This is Earth. He is a green ambassador. Global links are Earth’s passion. Caring and considerate of others , Earth always looks out for everyone and encourages them in all they do.
What would earth do? • To help improve global and national links we will post messages and videos of work we have done.
Tap • This is Tap. Sensible and hard working , Tap, our water expert, likes to find out how things work.
What would tap do? • Tap would never waste water so why not take a shower instead of a bath and NEVER EVER leave a tap running!
Switch • This is Switch. Our energy expert Switch knows a lot about technology and is a natural leader who always has a plan.
What would switch do? • You should never leave a light on and don’t have electronics on when you’re not using them. Also try and conserve energy as much as possible.
Brick This is Brick. Solid and dependable, buildings and grounds are Brick’s expertise. A real “Mr Practical” who is good at building and putting things together.
What would brick do? • Brick would see things through and will make sure it is done right. You can always count on him to help
Leafy • This is Leafy. Chilled-out Leafy is our nature and environmental expert. Leafy likes to question and think differently about things.
What would leafy do? • Leafy would help build habitats for animals and try and grow trees and other plants.
Smith • This is Smith. Youthful and Enthusiastic, Smith loves eating and drinking and is therefore an expert in food and drink. A great team player.
What would smith do? • Smith would never waste food and any leftovers he would make intoa compost heap.
Crush This is Crush. Crush is the joker in the pack. Crush can turn a hand to anything and invents ways to use things for different purposes.
What would crush do? • Crush would always recycle what needs recycling and making sure everyone else did the same.
Lefty And Righty This is Lefty and Righty. Our experts on health and happiness are packed full of energy and are always moving and bouncing around. They are real doers and like getting people started on projects.
What would lefty and righty do? • Lefty and Righty would keep people happy and would organize fun sporting events.
Puz and Zel • This is Puz and Zel. Joyful and bubbly, Puz and Zel are experts at getting everyone involved. They love to make sure everyone is included and enjoying themselves. Great communicators.
What would puz and zel do? • Puz and Zel would make sure everybody helped out with projects and organise team building activities .
Wheel • This is Wheel. Travel and traffic areWheel’s expertise. A bit of a thrill seeker who knows everything about anything that moves. A great one for coming up with ideas.
What would wheel do? • Wheel would make sure everyone knows what to do when near a busy road.
Sorry to Earth • We invented all these technicals,Never we played in the sun.We drive around in vehicles,Never we stopped to just run.Wasting paper,I'll call you later,That is all we think about,It makes you want to shout.Next you say you want a drink,you waste more water than you think,Instead of having a short shower,You have a bath that lasts an hour.Now its time to apologise,For the things we have done;We really are truly sorry,The goodness has finally come.We will be green.
